Culinary Center with a variety of flexible resident and
commuter plans.

TC Cafe

Conveniently located in the Student Center, the TC Café offers a modern setting where students can choose from a variety of stations to create the meal you want. Selections include made from scratch pizza, the carvery deli, home-style, pasta, fusion (international cuisine), a salad bar featuring a grain bar and fresh baked cookies and desserts.

MET GRILL - Featuring fresh grilled and traditional entrees.
‍HOMESTYLE - Provides a rotating menu of contemporary homestyle comfort food entrées from recipes inspired by the unique spices and techniques featured in various cultures and ethnic backgrounds to provide the comforts of home.
FUSION - Tour the globe and savor authentic, global cuisine with our rotating cultural inspired menu selections.
TRATTORIA - Contemporary and authentic culinary creations created fresh with house-made pasta, dough and our own signature sauces.
PIAZZA - Enjoy fresh pizza, hearth-baked Italian entrées and other specialties.
THE CARVERY - Create a one-of-a-kind sandwich or wrap or enjoy our daily specials.

Meal Plan Packages 2024-2025

A meal plan is required for resident students and is valid when classes are in session. As a resident student, you will automatically be placed on the TC Basic meal plan when you have completed arrangements for room and board. You can choose a different plan following the completion of all Financial Services requirements. To change your meal plan, after confirming that you have completed all of the requirements of the Financial Services office for payment arrangements, simply fill out the meal plan form or pick one up from Food Services. To access your meal plan, you must have your Thiel photo ID. Keep the card with you anytime you plan on using your meal plan or Thiel Bucks. It insures that your account is properly maintained AND protected from theft. Your own ID is required for your meal plan use at all of the locations. Meals are not transferable; you must use your own ID.

Do you require menu accommodations?
If you have food allergies, require a special diet, or have other dining concerns, please call us at 724.589.2190. Once we have the proper documentation from your physician, we will partner with you to create a plan just for you.

Thiel Bucks:
Looking for a way to avoid handling cash? You, your parents, or other family members can deposit money for Thiel Bucks on your ID. Your Thiel Bucks can be used at the TC Café and Rotunda Bistro. In the unlikely event you don't use them all, Thiel Bucks are fully refundable at any time. Please call Thiel College Financial Services at 724.589.2810 for more details.

Dining Points:
Dining points may be used to purchase food and soft drinks at the Bistro, in vending machines in the Academic Center, or for additional meal purchases at the dining hall. Dining points are assigned to a student account at the beginning of a semester, and expire on the last day of each semester.

Thiel TCC Plan
 Staff and faculty can purchase the TCC Plan and enjoy meals at a discounted rate in the TC Café with other members of the Thiel community. For more information call 724.589.2810.
