Dining Memberships for Every Schedule and Budget
PennWest– Clarion's comprehensive dining membership program saves time and money, and helps you eat on campus whenever and however you like. There are four meal plans to choose from for residential students and six for commuters and Residents, offering a plan that prevents you from ever having to worry about your next meal.
Dine Dollars, part of every meal plan membership, are accepted like cash at all of our dining locations on campus. You can use your Dine Dollars to purchase beverages, snacks and meals on campus.
Don’t know how many Dine Dollars are remaining in your account? Do not worry–simply ask one of our cashiers to check your balance for you, or download the Transact Mobile app to conveniently track your meal plan usage throughout the semester.
All meals plans are added directly to your student ID for convenient use and can be used Monday- Sunday.
Meal Plan Basics
Q. Will my meals carry over if I don't use them all in one week?
A. Meals in the 19, 14, 10 meal plans do not carry over from week to week, and reset every Monday. Meals in one of the block plans – 75 or 40 - roll over from week to week and can be used throughout the duration of the semester. To get the best value, choose the meal plan membership that best fits your eating habits, budget and schedule.
Q. What happens to unused Dine Dollars at semester's end?
A. Unused Dine Dollars transfer from fall to spring semester, but don't transfer at the end of spring semester. They're not refundable and can't be transferred to the new academic year.
Q. What's a "missed meal factor"?
A. Because students don't generally eat all their meals each week, memberships are priced with that in mind. Students on memberships with fewer meals tend to eat a higher percentage of their meals, thus their per-meal cost is higher. No credit shall be given to students for meals missed on any meal plan.
