Single Use Plastic Water Bottle Pan

Did you know, in 1999 Oberlin College students bound together to ban the use of single plastic water bottles? Today in 2024 we are reflecting on all of our sustainability practices on campus more than ever.

In partnership with the college, we are participating in the single-use plastic water bottle ban here on campus. Look for our hands-free bottle-filling water station all around campus and dining locations. Check-in with Oberlin College Office of Energy and Sustainability and Heather Adelman for more information coming soon!

Composting On Campus

We have been taking hugesteps to making all of our dining locations a compost friendly destination. Weare adding more and more compost bins throughout dining and retail locations aswell as our dining dinnerware and flatware.

Our catering events even host multiple zero waste events a year and areactively working to close the gap for the small few events and work that are atthe 99%.

We can compost plastic andpaper cups that are BPI certified. Look for the green stripe to recognize them!
